When times are especially challenging, creativity, team spirit, lean work processes and life/work balance become even more crucial. For the fourth time, we at Exago are proud to be distinguished as one of the 20 happiest companies to work for in Portugal.
The results of the 2020 Happiness Works initiative were announced this week amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, which has forced many companies, including Exago, to instill home-working.
“The news that Exago is once again among the happiest companies in the country, in very different circumstances to previous years, is a brilliant recognition of all our efforts to maintain our positive spirit and keep motivated and productive,” says Diana Neves de Carvalho, CEO of Exago.
With weekly inter-team updates, humorous notes, constant brainstorming sessions, remote post-work drinks and even running challenges, the Exago team “is as close-knit as ever, and that is reflected in this distinction. For us, it’s business as usual”, adds Diana.
Launched in 2012, the Happiness Works survey is promoted by Lukkap Portugal, Atlântica University, Exame business magazine, APG, ACEGE and Happy Brands. This year, it listed the 20 happiest places to work using indicators such as positive work environment, personal life/work balance, and trust and collaboration.
