How we’re building the (Exago) future

Those working in IT, particularly in this day and age, know only too well how important it is to keep your finger on the technology pulse. So last week I attended Building The Future, an event sponsored by our partners at Microsoft that has quickly established itself as one of Portugal’s leading digital transformation event.

A meeting point for technology, transformation and leadership, the event featured talks from international experts in a wide range of sectors, hands-on workshops and insightful use cases.

For me, as Head of Product & Technology at Exago, it provided plenty of food for thought as we embark on a new year and confirmation that we are on the right track when it comes to market trends.

Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Organisational Culture, Cybersecurity… The Building The Future event was brimming with knowledge and tools that we at Exago are either already applying or plan to develop further in the future.

 

Shaping the future

For me as an IT engineer and software developer (and so much like a kid in a candy store), it is exciting to understand how these technologies will impact the Exago product and how we can integrate them to continuously enhance our solutions.

Exago already leverages the ever-evolving capabilities of Microsoft Azure, ensuring that our product is increasingly safe and robust, with greater quality and performance. Thanks to this partnership with Microsoft, we will also be able to bring technologies such as AI and Machine Learning into the product, and that extends to our plans for open innovation.

In fact, a significant startup ecosystem was present at the event, a growing reality that echoes Exago’s vision and the direction that our roadmap is taking. It’s going to be an exciting year, that’s for sure.
